Prediction modeling for real-world clinical trial data with foundation models

This talk details using foundation models on phase II clinical trial data for disease event prediction, addressing challenges specific to regulated drug development data.

Overview

I will be presenting a use case of using recent tabular foundation models on the clinical data collected from phase II clinical trials for a disease event prediction modeling task. I will go into details on challenges of the nature of clinical trial data and why prediction tasks in healthcare applications particularly in drug development field are very complicated and how we can benefit from existing foundation models.
