Fabrication Shop AI Profit
Discover how domain expertise in fabrication shops reveals hidden profit patterns missed by existing ERPs, leading to an AI solution for financial insight.
I’m an operations manager at a stone fabrication shop. Some jobs are insanely profitable, others feel like pulling teeth, but nobody tracks why because existing ERPs don’t capture actual labor vs estimates. I started tracking jobs on paper to find the patterns. Turns out some jobs are insanely profitable and others jobs are huge money losers. There’s a huge money pit on certain types of projects. Now I’m building an AI layer that sits on top of existing ERPs to automatically find these patterns instead of me doing it manually.
